What defines furniture as ‘pint’-sized? Inspired by the child-like adults and adult-like children in Wes Anderson’s films, the design reimagines pint-sized proportions to accomodate people of all ages.

Fabrication

The components were cut using a CNC router. Each profile consisted of three layered pieces of plywood with grooves and notches creating the slide-and-lock joints.

Prototyping

Scaled cardboard mockups explored various proportions and profiles, structural conditions and joint assemblies.
